Wegovy (semaglutide) tablets and injections are prescription medications used for weight loss, long-term weight management, and to reduce the risk of major cardiovascular events in certain patients with obesity or who are overweight. Wegovy injection is also approved for the treatment of metabolic dysfunction–associated steatohepatis (MASH), a serious liver disease.
